Ghost mannequin (a.k.a. hollow-man or invisible mannequin) is the gold standard for apparel e-commerce. Done well, it shows shape, drape, and interior details without distracting models or mannequins.
Shoot for the edit
Always capture at least three plates: front on mannequin, back on mannequin, and the inside neck/label. Lock your camera on a tripod so the composite aligns.
Post-production in 4 steps
Cut out the garment, drop in the interior plate, rebuild the neckline, then color- and tone-match the seams. A consistent template per category keeps editors fast.
